She tends to be the most skeptical about whatever Honoka's planning. However, Honoka and Minami_Kotori are almost always able to convince her to go along with Honoka's ideas and she admits that despite her initial skepticism, she usually ended up enjoying whatever Honoka was planning. Umi points out that Honoka and Kotori lack the physical stamina necessary to be an idol singer while she herself has had plenty of physical exercise thanks to being part of the archery club and participated in other physical exercises. She sets up a training regimen for Honoka and Kotori which proves to be effective. Although Umi is quite serious in personality and in her attempts to help the school idol group Muse grow, she suffers from a bad case of stage fright. She also has an aversion to showing too much of her skin. Honoka and Kotori are able to help her deal with these issues and Umi proves to be a good performer. She is voiced by Mimori_Suzuko.
