Now Viewing: minakami_maiTag type: Character One of the main characters of the comedy anime/manga Nichijou. She is bespectacled black-haired teenage girl who's quiet and rarely expresses emotion. She is friends with Naganohara Mio and Aioi Yuuko. However, she often plays pranks on her friends whenever the opportunity presents itself to the point that she is often referred to as a troll by the series' fans. In one of her image songs, she even trolls singer Hyadain! She herself is also not exempt from her pranks; when no one else is around for some time, she'll do embarrassing things to herself. Her dogs also seem to have inherited her personality. No matter how many pranks Mai plays on her friends, especially Yuuko, they continue to hang out with her. Despite the incessant jokes she plays on her friends, she does have a few limits on how far she will go. The only person she does not play pranks on is Professor Shinonome likely because she thinks it would be too cruel to make fun of a little girl. She also does not play as many pranks on Nano. She is also multi-talented, being good at arm-wrestling, fishing, using a gun, etc. She is voiced by Togashi_Misuzu.
