Yes, the top pictures show the worms themselves while the bottom pictures show how they attach themselves and/or reproduce inside the host's body. So, she is willingly getting infected with worm parasites while drinking soda and reading a book.

We can only hope that her report will encourage her friends and classmates to do similiar projects. She should definately offer those babies to her teachers for further tests and studies.
