There's the possibility nobody bothered to change the ratings at Danbooru (yet) or somebody doesn't know what they're doing there. I have no account there to check much and have no plans to do so.

They're all over eight months old, and all had the questionable rating set by major uploaders (1000+ approved posts). So both of those possibilities are pretty much out.

I can't for the life of me figure out why that is rated explicit. Is it wrongly rated or is there a rule I simply don't know about.

I could of course just not be seeing it as I have a bunch of problems that make me overly tired and haven't been to bed in an overly long time.... Screw it, passing out!

These are the rating definitions defined by Gelbooru's owner. As they are the owner's definition, they trump our tag wiki and Danbooru's tagging policy in officiality.

Remember, just because we very frequently follow Danbooru's tagging policies does not mean that we are an exact mirror of their policies.

That being said, I also don't feel that most of those should be rated explicit. I say "most" because there's a couple I could go either way on.

I understand that. I was pointing out that our rating definitions at gelbooru.com/index.php?page=help&topic=rating are identical to Danbooru's at danbooru.donmai.us/help/ratings since Anti_Gendou wondered if they were modeled after Danbooru.

Until now, the closest thing I've had to a rating like this is 4chan's /e/cchi and /h/hentai boards... but the only difference between the two is that you aren't allowed to post images with dicks on /e/... images with only tits are considered ecchi only and vaginas tend to be fine in both.

I am going to start rating images with exposed breasts as questionable... I guess.
