In response to the poem...
A Kami doesn't leave a shrine without a good reason. As much as Suika might lament its supposed abandonment, perhaps this was a favor to allow an oni to stay and look after the shrine. The only one who is making it cold and lifeless is her, and maybe it is her task now to give the shrine a new life.
