^Best guess is that while the former displays conventional sexual acts taken to a higher level, the latter is literally just a perversion that isn't originally based in sex. Seeing someone with a lacking limb when that isn't the norm can shake people up even if it's just a drawing. It reminds you of just how fragile you are, and people don't like feeling like that. They just want to shoot some rope into their own eyes.
