Centipedes aren't insects. Like spiders, millipedes and crustaceans they are part of the larger group called arthropods. Insects are part of that group as well, but calling centipedes insects is like calling birds fish or mammals reptiles. The tag should be removed.

*cries deeply*
Alright, after all i didn't add it because i wasn't sure that they are insects ... but there isn't a way that i can blacklist this, though--

I dunno, I think centipedes fall under a general 'insect' heading for most people, so it might make sense for them to be tagged that way.

You could bring your case to the moderators in the add tag thread and ask for arthropods to be added to the tags. You have a good reason at least.

Blacklisting arthropods (if the tag is added) would let you free from any images containing spiders, mites, ticks, pill bugs, scorpions, daddy long legs, solifugae (don't search for images of them, you won't like what you find) and lots of other small segmented creatures. It would however also block any image (properly tagged) containing shrimp, crabs and lobsters.

Anonymous >> #1954476 you can't call a centipede an insect. The word you are looking for is bug.
