The artist had her Ike images be the most popular, so she designed her PSO2 character around fem-ike. From there, most of her inspiration came from the game, which has a happy coincidence of being her most popular work

Check her tumblr/twitter/pixiv and you'll see Fem-Ike in a bunch of weird costumes that don't fit the FE character (such as her waving around a massive gun), because she's kind of evolved into Yajiro's OC more than anything else.
