Either this recorder has too many holes or she isnt playing it right. There should be seven places for seven fingers. She obviously doesnt have two pinkies to be able to play both of the lower holes.

If you mean that the dots on the white area are extra holes, I'm pretty sure that's just like a marking or a sticker
