All of you miss, or slightly miss in the case of the dream anons, the point.
This is Saitama's dream, but not just losing to someone.
Instead its having fought a hard earned battle and lost and then having a strong senmpai/battle buddy step in to face the stronger foe.
Thus showing that his strength hasn't peaked yet, and that he ain't alone.
Tl;dr
Goku :"don't worry best buddy i will beat him for you and then we buff you up!"
