I mean, it's rope. It's probably made of some plant fiber, but modern rope is probably a good general guideline. The rope is clearly the thickness of the man's thumb at least, so probably at least around one inch. One inch thick nylon double braid rope can support almost 7000 pounds entirely safely, and has a tensile strength of 34,000 pounds. Even estimating incredibly low, the ropes are going to be able to hold back any human. Especially when that human has to break them by pulling their arms apart. That being said, I don't buy that Kohaku would be captured, or that she wouldn't escape if she was, but the ropes wouldn't give.
