what i found is that this pairing might actually become canon.
notice all the hints given by the games and the manga, and of course lili's obsessive about anything involving asuka.
people don't go around chasing upon somebody they dislike, like a lost dog.
i'm pretty sure lili's interest for asuka isn't just in a rivalry way...
