one of the things i absolutely love about berserk is the approach to the demons. They are made to be huge, nasty, often gross, but never phallically suggestive. There are alot of demons with tentacles, serpentine bodies, long weird tongues, but never give off the vibe that they are penis-like, it sticks to the horror of the demons where sex isnt needed. Its not like when civilians run into demons, they are all going to get gangraped, they probably get eaten. Instead, berserk does the right thing and exxagerates by putting huge eyes and teeth and to an extent, claws, all over with mobs like molding together as a huge collection of eyes and maws with either huge pointed conical teeth or large and long molars lining the entire mouth.
the trolls were the single exception, and even then, their face tentacles werent phallic related, just weird and not-of-this-world-ish. They were definitely demons though, rape a woman and another pops out killing her, then in a few seconds, matures into a complete adult. Berserk, a work of art, and tastefully fucked up.

Well you're mostly right, and where you're wrong only assists your point about the demonic artistic depth- there are quite a few extremely phallic and/or vaginal beasts, but they are all mostly packed around Casca during the Eclipse..
