So, I was going through the tags today, and I decided to look for cute stuff to show a friend who needed some cheering up. Rather quickly realized that 'cute' is being used for both connotations, that indicating a level of 'd'awww' and that indicating 'Wow, she's cute, I would totally put my penis in her vaginal cavity, if you know what I mean and I think you do.'

Immediate instinct is to retag to try and resolve this issue, but I'm unsure.

Immediate thing you could do is search "Cute rating:safe", but there's still the chance of improperly rated NSFW images showing up.

And you can argue over "cute" being a useful tag or one that needs purging, as well.

I'm more worried about getting rid of sexy and perfection though, myself.

Looking for cute images on a porn site is an astoundingly bad idea.

Plus, there shouldn't be anything tagged with cute anyway, since it's a non-objective tag.

It would just be a good idea to just filter all the nsfw pictures out of cute but I'm sure the idiots that put those there in the first place would just do it more.

I really think we should just flat out purge every single opinionated tag, from sexy to perfection.

I agree completely, Xalrun. Every such tag I encounter is removed or retagged for more accuracy. They are both misleading & getting in the way when looking for titles that have such terms in them. I can only hope specificity is not a lost cause here.

Cute is a subjective tag and it should not exist. Since there are about 300 pages of images with that tag (not to mention the thousands of images with other subjective tags), it will take some work to get rid of the tags. If you ever run into any images with subjective tags, such as cute, sexy, perfection, i'd_hit_it, etc., please don't hesitate to remove them. The help would really be appreciated.

There's no sort of mass tag removal system you mods have?

I wish. It would make things alot easier.

I tend to get rid of em as I see em.

And yeah i wish you mods had a mass removal option for tags, itd save lots of time

I'm going to start removing every picture from it then. It'll probably take me a day or two, then I'll move on to the others.
