Never been a big Zelda fan.

Waiting to get a Switch later anywa. I want to see if the third party support keeps going for it unlike Wii U.
I do want ARMS and Mario Odyssey when they come out though.

Or at least make it craftier like Danbooru's. Or some way of protecting the vote from cheaters.

I've never been so excited for a Zelda game since Majora's Mask.

I finally got GR2.

I doubt it. More likely it's just going to make it easier for people to flood the comments with awful shit. And without ratings for the community to somewhat police itself it's just going to end up making the moderators having to deal with a much higher influx of reports.

There are definitely merits to not having ratings on comments, but for Gelbooru I don't think its the optimal approach. I hope lozer prepared a way to reverse this change just in case, because I'm pretty sure the staff as a whole is going to regret this change in the long run.



Seeing as how you can search and sort posts by rating, I disagree with the notion of eliminating post voting entirely.

Some manner of of dealing with sock puppets is definitely needed though. Perhaps tying votes to accounts and looking for identical patterns across accounts in cases of mass downvoting. Then once those sock puppet accounts are identified, invalidate their votes.

I have an idea. Why not have votes decay at a set time every month, so that they approach zero if they are ignored long enough.

The problem with that is that the problem we're fixing is votes that will never be ignored ever because people are using bots to automatically keep them at a specific level. If we have them "decay", they'll just get voted right back to where they were as soon as the system changes them.
