A good chunk of the Youtube comments damn near repeat that. Some probably even word for word.
Share that video anywhere, and similar "Didn't know she was blind until the end" comments are made. I guess people just aren't used to disabled characters on television and other media. Even on a cartoon.
Japan is even worse about this too. Taiwan should lead the way to tolerance.

I managed to figure it out when she started feeling the fence. Which, IIRC, was within the first 30 seconds.
How do people not get it?

Indeed. I didn't realize it the first time either. When you read the comments. You realize.
Then you rewatch it and it blows your mind. It becomes completely different.
For those who understood the first time however, its difficult to explain exactly why we DIDN'T get it. Or what exactly it was we thought she was doing when she started feeling up the fence for weapons.
