Thanks for the compliment Max, but, just because you can draw good, doesn't give you the right to criticize other peoples drawings. Somebody will always be better and can call anything they see shit. True lovers of Art should never criticize each other because their eyes should be open to any form of detail even for the most inexperienced drawer and what you did was just uncalled for, unless it was a joke, which I doubt. But I agree with ILM, the faster you can get something on here, maybe we can believe you. Of course, the techs would have to be similar to your first post.

How long it takes is not something I can control, but it'll be something 100% new just for this thread.

Taking the amount of time you did after what happened did not do you any favors.

I didn't have any problems believing Dante because he, well, didn't do what you did.

I have no problems believing Xalrun because he must be doing something while he never properly talks to me anymore.

You have the right no matter what, he just did it like an asshole.

I disagree again. Everything should be criticized, provided it's valid. Your work won't ever improve if it's not.

You shouldn't not say anything, and let each other continue to draw like shit just because you're in the same group.

On a sidenote, if you have a problem with being validly criticized, you should grow a fucking backbone.

I was about to say something similar to this. Maybe throw in a couple more fucks and a hypothesis that this attitude is why there's so much garbage "anime" art in the West.

Damn, I guessed I failed. All I mean is, I don't like saying bad things about peoples work, unless its overly obvious that it is bad. I also hate being criticized but,

Your right about that. Should learn to take it better than I do.

I tutored under Paulo Cheong in the mid to late 80s, he is an artist known mostly for his Chinese brushwork and western oils, I can not forget his critical thoughts on chicken scratch sketches, or his thoughts on a purple shirt I wore one time to his studio in down town Escondido. He was very opinionated, very good, and very able to take a sub par drawing or painting and turn it into something much better with just a few minutes of his skill.

I like Haruhiko Mikimotos art style when it comes to characters, it is this artists style that I am most influenced by in my own drawings. So most of what I produce is similar, not nearly exactly but the influence is very strong.

You can't go through life without learning to accept critical comments on your technical skill, once you learn to take criticism you'll get better. I didn't attack the style, that's something of a personal opinion and while the picture style isn't something that sparks my interest the technical method of its creation did.

Credibility is something generally lacking amongst people on a forum such as this especially when right off the bat I am attacked for the content of my own posts and for signing them. I'll admit I took that insulting nature and ran with it, and really should have let that slide. I'm not all that good with being fluffy and nice in person let alone on some forum. I will try to make some effort at being more civil even if that isn't always par for the course. I did translate that Ass Hole mentality onto more than just the people who did the attacking in the first place, that was wrong of me.

I do hope that says something to who I am, somewhat bothered that I'm taken as a prick, and understanding how I contributed to that very opinion.

Max
