on this subject, i'd like to make an inquiry, if its ok, feel free to ignore the question if not.

my understanding of futanari from my time on the internet is that while yes, they generally appear female the majority of the time, there is the rarer variant referred to as the 'male-herm'/'male-futa', a masculine version still bearing male and female genitalia. its not just tiny/nonexistant breasts, but a more.... masculine body structure too, such as hips, thighs, waist, arms, shoulders, etc.

is there a single tag for this variant of hermaphrodite, or are there just a combo of tags that together with futanari will bring up these elusive entities?

Those are still futanari, so they're still tagged futanari.

I'm not exactly aware of a specific tag sequence that'll bring them up. It might be a good idea to start a pool for them.

Calling a newhalf a futanari or vice-versa is a misnomer that started in the West. In Japan, where both fetishes originated, Futanari are hermaphrodites while newhalf literally have the top half of a female but the bottom half of a male, hence the name. So no vagina makes it a newhalf since it's not a female with a penis above her vagina-- it's a transgendered person.

I'm not sure why you needed to bump a four-year-old thread that's been dead for 3 years to say that, especially since it was already stated earlier in the thread.

I was browsing, I didn't notice when the post was made and not all of my statement had been said earlier.
I'm not sure why you felt you needed to point that out to make me look stupid, it was an honest mistake.

Because necrobumping is extremely frowned-upon here. If a thread hasn't been touched in years, unless there's something new and pertinent that makes it worth bringing up again (such as a thread about tagging that was resolved based on Danbooru's tag policies, which would make sense to bump 3 years later when Danbooru changes that policy), we actively discourage users from bumping it.

I didn't know until now. I've never used forums here until today.
