I just realized that it's not from all images on simg3, what I've been encountering is a bit different than the problems others are having. I was looking up request tags on post #2583941, specificially simg3.gelbooru.com//image...da0fa6da4a09.jpeg?2583941 "The image cannot be displayed because it has errors."
I assumed that the problem was resolved because I checked other simg3 images, which were working fine, and refreshing the page pulled the image from a different server and I didn't pay attention. I check a lot of posts, so what I've been encountering is probably specific image problems. I'll let you know if I encounter more.

Can you do a traceroute to gelbooru.com to? I'd like to see the difference

Looks like the img got corrupted on the img server, this is unrelated to the networking issues some ppl seem to have.

I agree. I don't think that I ever had the same problem with what's going on in this thread in the first place. It would be too much of a pain to track down the other images that I had a problem with, so I'm letting that go. My traceroute is probably worthless now. Nice fix on the image, by the way.
