I like to look for "amateur" animations/gifs.
It's a pain in the ass when half of the posts are scenes from a hentai.
Having a tag for either the amateur or the studio made stuff would be nice, so that you could exclude one or the other from search.

You can use "screencap" for anime extracted animations/gifs.
I don't think the tag gets a lot of usage for this purpose though. About half of the pages under screencap+animated are from Danbooru.
