I maybe one of those people who come onto the site to look at images only. I just don't like the appeal of the advertisements on the page. I have a very twitchy mouse and I have a feeling that I will click on one and my computer would be messed up from clicking on the advertisement. I know this site does run by the ad revenue and I like that. But the fact that these ads are very easily clicked on and there is no way to tell if they have malware that could seriously mess up your computer.

So I am going to be very cautious about saying this. I may have to go elsewhere to find decent images. Like danbooru; which personally sucks because I love this site. I just don't like the intrusive ads that make me feel like I could be attacked by an unknown source because of them.

Here's what ya do, mah boy

#1. Download adblock

#2. NEVER disable adblock on this site.

#3. go to your account settings and change the setting where it has 3 check boxes for what type of ads you want displayed

#4 uncheck the banner ads (you still need two boxes to be left checked or else it wont work)

#5. ???

#6 PROFIT!

I mean since last week these banner started to pop up even though I have adblock installed on and I don't know how it is possible but you can still view ugly dick banners even though you block them. I did what you said by going to my account settings > options and only removed the tick from "banner ads" and left the other two alone and now the site has been back to its original clean state which makes me very happy. Thank you again!

PS: I am ashamed because I didn't knew that there were options like that even though I'm member on this site since 2009 lol.
