Even that seems too much. You know what? I agree. But there's just too many great games coming out at the same time.

Indeed. We just got two acclaimed titles with Horizon and Zelda. Hoping Mass Effect doesn't fuck it up but don't have much hope. :/

What do you mean, Disc 1? The whole game, dude! I mean, not the greatest game of all time, but come on. You can't just say disc 1.

Always fated to have SOME issue after going for too long. Whether it be a glitch that makes Yuffie's questline impossible to win (bell ringing), trouble getting through the windy cliffs because they're too hard to see on a PSP or having my PS3 die and lose everything. It's not like I *intentionally* just set it down.

And apparently they want to add stuff. Which is also nice.

Longer, more "intimate" Cloud x Barrett date scene and cross-dressing segment. *fingers crossed"

1998. I was 7.

FEEEEH. Not the first time I heard of someone who played it at such a young age. Had never touched a controller at that point and would not for another 2 years. And even if I did, it would have been deemed too evil. I didn't play it till I was 15.

Graphics never were a big issue for me. OoT is a really great game by the way. :P

It was too hard to get into for...some reason. Not sure what. It's never been as much an issue of graphics as it is dated mechanics anyway.

That sucks. But that just sounds like another reason to not call the first disc "best game ever". lol

Crossdressing confirmed. But Clarrett? I don't think so hehe

FF6 is the FF I've played. And yeah, I've been playing games since... forever. My first console was an Atari ST.

Zelda Link's Awakening was the first Zelda I played. Then I played Ocarina of Time, when it came out.

And by the way I play more fighting games that I have listed. But I just mentioned the ones I play the most or with the other guy. I love Street Fighter and fighting games a lot and have been playing a lot of them for a long time.

Also, I'm at the end of both FF3 and SMRPG, so they won't stay in my playlist for long.

Except none of those are really the fault of the game itself. ;P (The Yuffie things seem to be port specific) I think the moment it cements that position is actually super early on. It's when they're Like, anyone can say "It makes you feel like you're ACTUALLY THERE MAN" but actually experiencing it...Jebus. Getting goosebumps here.

But but...that's homophobic racism! I am triggered! Reeeee

"Off all the Final Fantasies I have ever played...6 is one of them." :B

Lucky (see what I did there?) you.

[quote]Zelda Link's Awakening was the first Zelda I played. Then was Ocarina of Time, when it came out.

Never tried that one. And wait...getting the sads flashbacks here. Oot was to be my second game ever but ended up in the trash after being deemed...yes, too evil looking.

Maybe I'm missing something but I never saw the appeal of fighting games all that much really. Probably something to do with more interest in story. (If that's really misinformed, it wouldn't be surprising.)

Also, I'm at the end of both FF3 and SMRPG, so they won't stay in my playlist for long.

Oh, hey. You listed another game with the immaculate tunes of Yoko Shimomura. Didn't notice that first. Nobuo is to me the greatest game composer to walk the face of the Earth and she is not far behind.

To be honest I'm not sad about Cloud and Barrett. But Cloud in dress was great news.

I totally recommend FF6. Fun fact, it's also multiplayer.

In the trash? Woah. Blasphemer.

Yeah, fighting games are a totally different category of games. There's no point in playing it for the story. I just play them competitively online or with my friend. I wish there was a tournament scene near where I live.

You want the best RPG ever made on SNES unreleased outside Japan that also has Shimomura as the composer? Play Live A Live, man. I promise you won't regret it.

Im not a ff fan but even I'm excited for ff7 remake, mostly because of sephiroth. I'm mainly a pc gamer though and I'm not sure if the remake will come to pc.

Wholeheartedly agreed 100%, and I say that with no irony.

U wot m8? How??

What a shame. At least got my hands on the admittedly maligned Star Fox Adventures which is so similar and also """evil""".

No animu cons to pick from? (Oh, that reminds me of a question about those that would be highly pertinent for a site like this but still a little uncomfortable asking it. :P)

Wow. At first glance, it has a hell of a lot of detail for its time. "Live A Live's story begins with a series of seven seemingly unrelated chapters that can be played in any order, based on popular genres such as Western, science fiction, and mecha. Each chapter has its own plot, setting, and characters." A good goddamn, someone needs to try this again today for sure.

In the config menu you can set which controller controls which character during battle. I actually did one full run like that with someone else.

Sorry, what?

This game is mind blowing (and I hate that term to the point that I never use it, but for this game I must, just saying). And when you finish all chapters, you unlock the medieval chapter, which has a pretty shocking ending. Then after that chapter, you form a team with characters from the first chapters and do the last chapter. I can't tell about the plot details, but it's really something you shouldn't miss.

There's is a fan sequel. But I doubt this or a new game could do better than Live A Live did.

I really recommend this game. Especially going for the best ending (in fact, all endings, since they are interesting).

Weird. But I'm sure it'd be interesting to try if nothing else. Certainly moreso than the "multiplayer" in Mario Galaxy.

Oh, I *adore* Star Fox Adventures and have played it like 10 times to completion. It's to cover my ass because I know the fanboys aren't too fond.

Sorry, what?

Those should have some fighting game contests to pick from.

So another title to add to my already massive backlog. Thanks. ;B
