Reason for deletion of some the older Minus8 pics is "not a japanese artist", but almost all his other stuff is up

I don't have a problem with restoring his work, but I'll let someone else chime in.

We would allow some of his work if it is good quality and Japan-themed. Those are mostly low-quality oekkaki. Some of his work is really good and we keep those.

hey again it gives me the reason "pointless gif". Can I just have it back. It does not violate any policies and it is a legitimate gif

If I'm not mistaken, it's pointless because it's too short. Usually when any fan made gif is designated as pointless would be because of that reason.

You are not a Japanese artist. Gelbooru is an English language gallery for Japanese-themed art. If your art is not of a Japanese copyright/character or in a Japanese style it may be deleted for being off topic. It is possible or even likely that your original characters are too western in style and will be deleted.

I agree. The ones in the links are really poor. Being oekaki is no excuse.

Someone has a picture of the same woman in the same quality.
