Can anyone explain the thought process behind the way names are tagged on this website?

Why does the site randomly go between Japanese names (frioniel) and English names?

Like why are all the pokemon characters named after their Japanese names but they don't call Pokemon "Pocket Monsters". And Resident Evil isn't called Biohazard.

Come on, stick to one or the other!
