The 00-Aretha exists as an enemy in both Armored Core 4 and Armored Core: For Answer, but you cannot pilot or construct it in either game. If I recall correctly, the canonical reason is that Aretha is a revised prototype NEXT, and places tremendous mental stress on the pilot, which results in the machine driving them insane or killing them, and then operating autonomously, attacking everything in its path indiscriminately.
Joshua O'Brien is forced by Omer Science to attack Colony Anatolia with one in the last mission of AC4, and in ACFA, ORCA uses one to defend the Ehrenburg satellite cannons.

It's not a fanart, dcm01, if you look carefully, it's a screenshot that must have been annoying as hell to force. It's from ACfA when you're employed by The League to destroy the Anti-Satellite batteries.
