At first I thought that was Samus' HUD.

Then I thought of The Major in Samus' power armor and almost exploded at the thought of such awesomeness.

A cyborg in a combat suit. Seems about right, always thought it was ridiculous terrans didn't use extensive cybernetics against more physically imposing races.
