Crystal is the epitome of badass and manly during Pokemon Special Crystal... I was so enraged when I got told that she wasn't going to be on HeartGold & SoulSilver :I

In the anime both Marina (anime Crystal) and Lyra exist, but Marina supposedly fulfilled her dreams of becoming an Idol and that's why she appears modelling products (like the Poketch) and also have her own clothesline, I guess that's why she doesn't appear with Kenta (anime Hibiki) at the start of Zorua and Zoroark movie.

BTW, the "idol" dream is only for the anime. In the manga she wants to be a super pro Pokemon Hunter.
