Oh, right. Zero did not have his trademark Z-Saber in the first X game yet. I think he started using it after he revived in X2.

On another note, was the X-Buster always on X's left hand? I thought it was the right arm?

it depended on which direction you were facing on account of them just flipping the sprit.

i always assumed he could convert either of hand to the buster but only one at a time.
