Overture was a failure. Reasons?
Here:
1. WTF-RTS system (no srly, WTF?!)
2. They fucked up the story (How the fuck did police officer become a king in 5 years?!)
3. The best characters were left out...
- Eddie, just when he was supposed to get his new "pure" form.
- Anji. Yeah, so you're telling me that this guy, who became a criminal and jumped right into the middle of the war out of sheer curiosity, isn't even around when 5 years later That Man appears again to set things in motion? RIIIIIGHT -_-"
- Testament... devs should be crucified for his absence.
- All Jellyfish Pirates!
... leaving only "white knight" and "bad boy". Ehh...*
4. Dizzy, who was supposed to finally gain some control over her vast powers (and hopefully become something more than GG fan-service character) was now turned into Damsel in distress, also being completely removed from gameplay (being reduced to nothing more than material for pictures like the one above)
5. Action of the entire game is focused around crack-pairing!
In case someone will say "you just hate this pairing". NO! I hate game which tries to tell the love story while pretending to be, both fighting and strategy game. It's like making a Tekken mod for C&C and making Nina's and Jin's crack-pairing the cause of another World War. If they wanted to make kingxprincess story they should settle for spin-off dating sim :(

Ahh, I feel slightly better after writing this. Good day to everyone and... in case someone from Arc Systems read this, FUCK YOU once more!
*I'm not saying that those are the only important/best left out characters, but it's around them that other chars gather (like Milia is constantly after Eddie/Zato and Baiken who always have something to do with Anji).
