I have a question for whoever it may concern. I've honestly only played Homecoming, as well as digging through the internet for cool background information and whatever. I've also seen both the movies and did more digging around for more Silent Hill storyline. After completing Homecoming , I really love Alex Shepherd. But I've noticed, most Silent Hill fans don't care much for him and he rarely appears in fan-art. Why is that?

@Anon2 Because Homecoming is regarded as one of the worst Silent Hill games. I agree, Alex is an awesome character, but the game really falls flat compared to the others. Recognition of him as a character suffers because his game is, comparably, terrible.
