"Seme" and "uke" refer to roles in a yaoi or yuri relationship, seme "wears the pants" and uke is more subservient and effeminate. My work here is done...

aaaaactually....altough it isn't so widely used, there are also own terms for yuri-relationships. Neko, the "cat", being the submissive part and tachi being the aggressive. They're also used for yaoi in some cases(or so I've understood), but i'd stoop to using the old Butch-Femme -terms for yuri, since it's more widely in use. Hope that helped...
