Neither, it's the original Macross. In DYRL Hikaru, Max, and Kakizaki flew Skull Squadron-marked planes, plus this Macross has an aircraft carrier (the Prometheus) as an arm. In DYRL it had two space carriers.

Anon 3, don't forget the LHD-type vessel (the Daedalus) on the other side, and the fact that Hikaru's flying his VF-1J from the series. In DYRL, he flew a VF-1A until he inherited Skull Squadron and Roy's VF-1S after Roy bought the pineapple plantation.
