He still isn't very hard. If you have a good shield and one or two potions/healing spells left, you can just block his attacks. Except for his lightning bodyslam.

Having one person, or more, to help you turns this fight into a cakewalk for the most part. Especially satisfying if you've already had your ass continuously handed to you while trying to solo them.

Ornstein at least resists lightning, actually, and I think Smough does too. You're better off with Fire.
