According to lore, Fate/Zero-Fate/Stay Night Gilgamesh was such an enormous dick to his people that the Gods had to intervene and give him something to do so he wouldn't be busy tormenting his subjects. Nice, isn't he?

Did you even read Epic of Gilgamesh?

Gods were fucking assholes to him, he suffered hell of a lot of shit that they threw at him... in the end it was really sad to even look at this poor bastard...

I cried at this point in the poem. I know it says they two were friends, but they must have been lovers by that point.
