Since the Thalmor are pretty much Nazi analogues, it stands true that while all Thalmor are Mer, not all Mer are party members. I mean, they pretty much treat the Wood Elves like shit.

Love Skyrim's rendition of the Atronachs.
Especially on the Frost Atronach, in Morrowind it looked like a pale blue gay gladiator in a gimp suit, Oblivion's version was just meh.
