Given I am not seeing any sort of exhaust on the 'engine' back... how exactly is this staying upright balanced on those tiny wheels?

its because its not balanced on the tiny wheels. thats just the landing gear its it floating. hence the rear wheel being off the ground more then the front.

btw just to add to this. I see 4 exhausts and assuming theres a matching 4 on other side it has thrust to stabilize both the front and rear
