I think that her "skin" is (in the author's conception) some kind of life like polymer, i for one if i were to make a gynoid i'd use some kind of lubricant between the fake skin and the metal chassis. Since without one the constant motion would result in wear and tear.

Also, pneumatic fluids. The muscles might be polymers, but I doubt it. Pneumatics just tend to work better, and it'd explain the spray and tubes.

Could also be her heat dispersing system. I mean you see the layer of white goo that is in between the skin and metal. So it could be some for of non newton liquid that hardens or becomes stiffer with sudden impacts giving her skin taxter depending on what the layer you are touching is made of. It could also easily disperses heat thanks to it being able to flow through the mechanics when she is not moving. Also since the tubes are leaking the same colored fluid it could be used as pneumatic fluid.

Can I get a pic of this character but not all wounded, that would be amazing. Anyway, I love the detail and I think some of the idea was taken from Aliens.
