You know, from what I see I think this is actually a lethal injection execution, especially considering other pictures with this girl show her wearing a (bottomless) prison uniform and hand-and-ankle cuffs, possibly the lead-up to this. Still, it looks like she's still alive and may not have been given the injection yet, so maybe she could still be saved by the Governor's Line. Point is i think the execution and peril tags should be added.

Also to answer Anon1, If you look closely it appears to connect about where her other arm is bound (theres a small white flap sticking out). Assuming this is indeed a lethal injection, that other white cord is probably the backup injection line. That and other details, such as the heartbeat monitor, blindfold, and the presence of physicians, shows the artist did his research on the subject, and makes this in my opinion one of the best execution peril images ever. Plus it helps that the girl appears to still be alive at this point, and crying and/or sweating out of abject fear.

Wouldn't call it an execution... Just from my own knowledge of lethal injections, due to the following:
1> The IV in her wrist, looks more like a saline or similar IV to keep her hydrated.
2> The pads are in the wrong place for a heart beat monitor, they more remind me of the contact pads for a Mystim or Folsom box (electric sex).
3> Thick white line going under her, wouldn't be a back up injection line, more likely attaching to some form of sensor? Potentially the one in her panties?
4> Lethal injections are done with an IV board on the hands, to keep the wrists immobile, to prevent potential issues with the lines, and both lines are mirrors of each other.
Looks more like they are torturing her to see how she can take, without reducing her to a mere husk.

First, this is most definitely not execution, and you guys are freaks for even thinking about it.
This is some kind of medical test, most likely something to do with experiemental cures. The guys are in lab coats, not guard uniforms. If she is a criminal, then they just volunteered her for a clinical trial. If it was an "execution" she would be flushed of pigmentation, not having greater blood flow.
Alternatively, like all criminals in sci-fi, she's trading her jail time for compuslory military service as a super soldier. Super-steroids are waht's in the IV drip. Think about it, it makes sense.
