I agree with Anon #1 this may not be the Dante everyone has enjoyed over the years but things change, I enjoy this new Dante just as much as the new one. Its thrilling to know that the story can keep going cause honestly what would they do after Devil May Cry 4? It would have be rode out till no one enjoyed the game anymore, Ninja Theory created this from their own perspective, a reason why this was called a "re-boot". Once half human and demon, and now a half demon and half angel.
Only a small amount of time later when the game everyone is waiting for comes out, a DmC game that renders you to play the Infamous Legendary Dark Knight Sparda. Makes you wonder what it could be like don't you think? That's from my perspective, I stay with the franchise cause I am a true Devil May Cry fan.

I see where you are coming from but even without the Dante connection this guy is one the most irritating video game characters I have ever come across.
He is like a mountain dew commercial mated with a 45 year old man's idea of a cool teenager.
Also the story tried painfully hard to be "deep" but it only ended up moronic and derivative of everything from an episode of Futurama to 1980's cult classic horror film They Live
TLDR: It's a mediocre game but the story is bad and Donte a shit.

I see where you are coming from but even without the Dante connection this guy is one the most irritating video game characters I have ever come across.
He is like a mountain dew commercial mated with a 45 year old man's idea of a cool teenager.
