Not a shotgun, removing tag; it's a lever-action rifle, likely of a pistol cartridge chambering. Note the depression on the side, where the rounds are actually loaded into the tubular magazine.

Or, it could be the 1892 Winchester rifle, which would probably be the one that's in the picture, but now i'll shut my mouth since you guys obviously don't give a shit about that information.
