^ It's likely because of the fact that there's no light magic in Fire Emblem: Awakening outside of Divine Tome Naga. Although, the fact that Dark Mages are very versatile in terms of offensive magic helps.
Though it's not like Micaiah's DLC version will need the Dark Mage class to use Dark Magic. The fact that any FE character from FEs 1-12 can access any class that's available to their gender (not unlike Rufure/Robin) helps with this.
