What are the pliers in the last image for? At first me and my friend thought defanging (tooth removal) but there's no blood and although she's a masochist it doesn't seem like her master would do something permanently harmful to her.

Then I thought maybe a riveter (in place of normal piercings) but it doesn't seem to have anything protrusions on either end for fastening the rivets.

Anyone got any ideas?

My guess would be that the pliers are there for a few reasons... The foremost being fear. She knows her master wouldn't hurt her... But when you're there, right in the moment, not everything is so black and white. Secondly, the pliers might be there just as that; a tool, to remove/secure bindings and other "equipment"... Another idea I had when I got to thinking about it, would be as a weight; if it's the kind of pliers that can be "locked", you could clamp it down and lock it so that it hangs (providing weight) to any of her piercings.
