the girl could be the arisen because in the game you can train your pawn to protect you at all times with the knowledge chair. They can act more like a body guard.

the dude is the Arisen...maybe because the girl lacks the scar...maybe she is a hybrid Arisen where they lose their scar once they defeat the dragon at the end... :3
