I see it more as a father-figure/ legal guardian teaching his kid's the ways of life. In this case a ninja life. Anon1 is a big fail, for Kakashi who has lost many loved ones he gain many more.

Don't you think that's whats the artist is trying to show. sorry Kakashi isn't nailing any of them for you!
