Or maybe she's...NOT trying to kill him? Ya know, just cuz she's a monster don't mean it somehow makes sense that she'd murder something she loves. Unless it's accidental. But c'mon now. If something is sophisticated enough to be affectionate, it should be sophisticated enough to know how not to accidentally kill things it's trying to have sex with, even if it isn't the same species...or any other biological classification besides "alive"...

Seeing as slimegirls can possibly hydrokinetically form a Membrane with similar consistancy to a Human Epidermis. I don't see why they wouldn't form a Gastrodermis around it's food. and then digests it's food in that Coelenteron Gastrovascular Cavity, not unlike a Jelly fish. Rather not like the Slime monsters found in classic RPGs.
