Oh god... for something so cutely drawn, this is actually horrifying.

Despite being an adult, I still have something of a fear of things (namely sandals, and, by extension, feet) getting caught in escalators (most likely because my father once had a patient who had their foot damaged by one), so to this day, I always hop over the part where the escalator goes into the floor.

Thinking about that poor Raichu being eaten by the escalator makes this so much worse than it needs to be...
