um Shadow didn't see Rouge as anything more then a business partner in crime and in the anime Rouge and Knuckles dated each other so what Knuckles is probably saying is stay away from my emerald and my woman Shadow or else!

Then why are Shadow and Rouge always together in the games for the past decade while Knuckles is nowhere to be seen? Nothing in Sonic X should be taken canon in any way.

@ Anon #1723833 Shadow and Rouge are partners, while Rouge and Knuckles have different jobs that more or less keep them apart. Not only that, Rouge flirts with Knuckles one moment (more than with Shadow, I might add) and tries to steal the Master Emerald the next.
