Though there is absolutely no shame in it, it's also not always easy always being second best. Sometimes struggling against almost impossible odds, sometimes failing, sometimes falling just before you can claim your hard-earned glory... sometimes having to walk home, covered in bruises, drenched to the bone, with tattered clothes, mud in your hair and a broom, cleanly snapped in two, while SHE, that annoying "number one", the one you can never quite catch up to, gets to upstage you and stand in the beaming spotlight once more...
