No, she would have died regardless of her decision. Minato could have been there for Naruto, but he chose to give his life to ensure that Kushina would meet Naruto someday instead of just dieing off that instant. Amongst other reasons...

I'm pretty sure Kushina was about to die that night. Her chakra was almost gone, she was coughing blood and she knew she was going to die that night. That's why she offered for Minato to put Kurama back in her. But Minato decided instead of letting her sacrifice herself. He put the rest inside of Naruto. Kushina did not decide to put her remaining chakra inside of Naruto.

It was impossible for Kushina to take care of Naruto in physical form. Either die protecting Naruto and Minato and never seeing them ever again or letting Minato put her remaining chakra inside of Naruto so she could at least see him one more time. Those were her only choices.

Sacrifice yourself for your loved ones, or just take a bet and have faith in your child. That and nothing else

And even if Minato decided to leave her alone and just sacrifice himself. She would have died right there on the spot. You tell me what's worse dying right in front of your newborn child, or at least be there one more time with remaining chakra you have.

Actually it was revealed in the manga that if you return the Bijuu to the Jinchuuriki she would survive, so Minato could have saved Kushina and himself!
