The Russians didn't make removable blade bayonets for their Mosin-Nagants. The M44 had a fixed blade bayonet, which this is not. The artist probably saw pictures of Chinese or Finish Mosin-Nagants and assumed the Russians used removable blade bayonets too.

To be expected, though. The Japanese are notoriously bad at doing proper research about other cultures.
